The recent Biscuit poll threw up the controversial topic of whether Milk or Dark Chocolate digestives are better.

So – which is it ?

Milk Chocolate
Dark Chocolate
Neither – it's the plain Digestive (All hail the digestive ! The King of all biscuits! Humblest of his kin!)
Other
Not a biscuit eater
Not a wargamer

I'm excluding such modern abominations as :

Caramel Chocolate Digestives(not the dieters friend)

Double Chocolate Digestives (that's just wrong – making the actual biscuit chocolate as well ? Heads should roll)

Milk Chocolate & Orange (if I wanted to eat a Chocolate Orange I'd buy a chocolate orange – I wouldn't smear one over a biscuit!!!!!)

So, where do you stand on this topic ?

I guess if I had to choose I'd go with the milk chocolate.
However, if I'm dunking in coffee then I tend to find the dark chocolate tastes nicer.

Why dilute dark chocolate with any contaminants?

Glengarry521 May 2015 9:19 p.m. PST

Dark… I'm sophisticated! :)

Martin Rapier21 May 2015 11:13 p.m. PST

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate ones are an insipid and sickly sweet spawn of the devil.

Green Tiger22 May 2015 2:37 a.m. PST

Neither – they contain palm oil which is forbidden in our household as it is akin to eating powdered oran utang apparently…

MajorB22 May 2015 3:07 a.m. PST

Dark chocolate, absolutely.

Bellbottom22 May 2015 3:27 a.m. PST

Dark every time, but I fail to see any relevance to Wargaming

cazador22 May 2015 4:45 a.m. PST

Dark but I will take plain if that's all that is available.

'Fail to see any relevance to wargaming' ???!!!!

Surely this has FAR more relevance to wargaming than some recent threads that shall remain nameless….?

Dark, for sure.

Dark also.

Wargaming relevance ? Do you not eat biscuits with your coffee whilst you're thinking about your next move on the wargame's table ?

I know I do.

Plain, with vegemite on.

Cornelius22 May 2015 8:51 a.m. PST

Dark chocolate, but more importantly ALL should be eaten chocolate-side down. Try it.

Well, now I have to buy some.

In the interests of scientific research of course.

Cerdic24 May 2015 2:49 a.m. PST

Dark for me. Just make sure you don't get chocolate all over your figures….

Martin Rapier24 May 2015 11:32 a.m. PST

"Wargaming relevance ? "

Essential wargaming supplies for going to a show. Or they were when I was younger and less prone to piling on the pounds.

My wife says dark, I say milk, so we usually compromise on dark.
