Over two nights, my friend and I played out most of Quatre Bras. We've been tweaking my DF-Like rules and are pretty pleased with how they play. Report with pictures from the second night here. link

Excellent stuff – have also just finished reading your WW2 and Napoleonic sets of Featherstone-like rules – they look very enjoyable and may give the a try.

Page here for anyone else who's interested:

Nice.

John, Kallistra sell a product which looks like a self adhesive green material and it is designed to go onto bases to stop them slipping on hillsides etc, I think that might work for your roads.

Look at the bottom of this page – it is called anti-slip mat LINK kallistra.co.uk/?page=14

Thanks Norm! That may just do the trick!

Alphus99, I have a fully edited version of the H&M rules that I will post tonight. The WW2 rules are still a WIP. I wanted to start testing those last year but life got in the way.

@normsmith What is the no slide material made of? I would have bought a sheet but Kalistra wants me to buy 10 GBP and postage to the States worth (minimum order). That would be something like 4 sheets. Not really interested in spending that mush on extra sheets I won't use. frown

I don't know, it reminds me of that self adhesive fablon that DIY stores used to sell to represent suede (sold in red, green and blacK) I will probably pick up a sheet in my next order to them, because my wee fellows do slide on the hillsides.

Suede would be OK but so might be sand paper. There is adhesive stair grip that is essentially sand paper I might try. A 6"X2ft section is only about $7 USD at the DIY. I try first with a bit of sand paper. That should tell me if the stair grip will work.
