Never buy rules from an author that can't speak or write English. |

mrkprkr (?) By Fire and Sword (Polish autohrs) Impetus (Italian authors) L'Art De La Guerre (French authors) All very playable I think. Though of course I do not want to imply the respective authors can't speak or write English |

@mrkprkr,books can be translated you know. I've heard Tercios is going to be translated into English and German, but then you won't buy it either because the author cannot speak or write in English… |

The Hernandez brothers put some good work into this set. These rules seem more organized toward the Grand Tactical perspective. I like the color artwork, nice touch. With their 28mm basing of 12cm (120mm) frontage for the Escuadron/Tercio/Batallan infantry and the 8cm (80mm) frontage for cavalry, both light and heavy, this game has a very strong Impetus feel. |
