The above small ad has been running in Miniature Wargames for as long as I can remember – literally years. Does anyone know why ? Even my painting isn't so bad that figures would stay unsold that long !

I suppose I could email the seller and ask but I'm a bit nervous of making contact with a Russian spy ring or something :-)

I've often wondered about the ad as well. They must have paid more than the value of the figures in advertising costs by now…

Maybe it's code, like in WWII wireless messages. "The brown dog has three legs…The brown dog has three legs…." "For sale, ….."

Or perhaps these are different lots of figures.
