We do not often show off early prototypes but in this case I wanted to make an exception. With Patrol Angis coming out in just over a week I wanted to fill you in on where we are going later this year. A massively up armoured Adder variant featuring replusar (Anti-Gravity) propulsion which sported a heavy laser capable of bringing down much larger targets. The Super Blue is a hunter killer with a lot of bang for the buck as they say. Click through to read and see more in this article on our blog that I cannot put up in full here. I also put this news here on the TMP forums rather than headline news as some customers asked me if I would do this for 'non-release' items. Awesome! Love it! Already put in a couple of orders, one for the game pack with the rules and another separate order! Can't wait to get my hands on them! Now I need to order some of these when they are released! Hopefully there will be some sort of Dropship in the future and variants thereof!? |

Thanks guys. I love that chubby remark, nicely done. Yes we are planning ever upwards and onwards and since we are doing well Alternative Armies has green lighted more vehicles this year. The SuperBlue is the starting point. All in 15mm scale. GBS theionage.com |

Gavin, with regards to patrol angis: are there any after action reports are the forces in the starter balanced are the forces enough to enjoy the game right of the bat I love the idea of a 15mm starter set but there is only limited info on how it plays. |

Thanks guys. Nice one Leland! Kozak1980. Happy to help. There are no after action reports or reviews as yet as Patrol Angis has not been released yet and the current state is pre-order until 1st June. I expect to see these coming along in the month plus after release. The forces in the game pack are essentially balanced within a small percentage of each other. Though a lot depends on how you play and customisation of your lances and platoons of course. The game pack contains enough miniatures carefully thought out to allow one Prydian Knight Lance and one Yordist Mixed Lance with Battlesuits and Portable Weapon. However we put it together with the thought that many wargamers who are into The Ion Age already would like to use the figures differently. For example all as Prydian Army in which case you have Three Squads, Three Battlesuits, One Portable Weapon with Gunners, Two Characters all to paint up as you choose into your existing forces. The starter set is excellent value and the game was extensive playtested by a public group and by ourselves. Go here: link I hope this assists you. GBS theionage.com |

Gavin thanks, love that the two forces can be rolled into one especially as I want your khanate guys eventually. I'm aware of the pre-order and want to jump but would like an idea of how it plays first. I know a few others were asking as well so if you have any detail on game play it would be gratefully received. |

Hello Kozak1980. Thanks for the kind words. There will be more information and free files etc when the book releases but not before. Sorry. The offers end 1st June. The game is tactics based and works easily, troop elements and a number of action points per turn. Scaleable from a squad a side to a hundred a side we tried. GBS theionage.com |
