Hey guys… a rary foray into the avation boards for me, but a quick question.

Have any of you ever built the SMER model of the Fieseler Storch? Could you let me know if it comes with the French markings for the MS 500? Any other comments about this model would be appreciated too.

Thanks. :O)

I've not built it, but reviews seem good. No French markings – one set of German, and in an interesting choice, one of early 1950s Vietnamese.

You might want to check some of the after market decal sets (just google MS 500 aircraft decals). There should be some available from the online shops.

Hey guys, thanks for responding. However since my original post, a message I sent SMER some time ago and which I thought wasn't getting a reply, did!

And the news is good, the model comes with Croatian AND Indochina decals… happy days! :O)

If you google for kit reviews, also search for Heller, as they made the kit originally then sold the mould to Smer.

What Dom said: the Indochina decals are for a Vietnamese Air Force plane.
