I know this probably brought up once a week, but the threads I found lacked the info I was looking for. So here I am :D! Anyway I really love Peter Pig, but was looking for a 15mm producer that can fill out my ranks a bit with some variety. So I had my sights set on Baueda, anyone have both? And can tell me how they compare?
Thanks guys!

Have you considered Splintered Light?

Lots of variety though I am not sure how they match up with PP.

I have some Baueda Normans and they are some great figs. They match up with OG15s well if that helps.

Hi There
Doc-
I actually have considered SL, I bought most of my goblins and dwarfs from them and they have great service. Maybe a bit more realistic in their proportion but I think they match fine with PP. I just wanted to spread of the wealth and try to show some love to Baueda as I haven't yet. Although, SL does have some downright terrific looking Vikings.

Tiberius-
That may actually have answered my question, TO THE BOX OF ASSORTED LEAD!

Thanks guys!

Maybe this will help …

I made the comparisons as part of my own Dark Age piggie centred project …

Vikings, Scots, etc.

All go very nicely together … Great figures … thumbs up!

My son is doing all the armies for SAGA in 15mm. His project is called 'travel SAGA' LOL. He has freely mixed SL, Old Glory, Khurasan and Peter Pig with no problem.

I have SL, OG15, Khurasan, Peter Pig, Baueda, and some odds and ends.

The Baueda is terrible in my opinion. The individual figures within a single faction in many cases don't even scale well together let alone amongst their offerings. A few Norman horsemen aren't bad but I struggle to say nice things about them.

SL, OG15, the Pig all work pretty well together. The Khurasans are lovely and probably the most accurately porportioned but a little bit thinner. I think they will mix well enough but the others look real nice together.

Having shared my opinion take it with a grain of salt, it is 15mm afterall.

Oh man! I should do saga in 15mm!! I only have anglo-danes, I could have ALL the warbands in 15s! Thanks for the pics phil, also your viking warband there is exaclty how I like mine (although painted better than mine XD) colorful. It seems there is an Old Glory consensus here. I have khurasan stuff, and splintered light stuff, but I have heard some bad quality things about Old Glory. The figs look great and at an unbeatable price, are the quality issues real? Is there anything bad about these figs?

If people want to get a little trading thing going on I'd be up for that. I collected my stuff specifically for doing Saga in 15mm. I have lots of spare vikings, normans, generic archers, and many of the Splintered Light early saxons which I don't know what to do with.

I can't check back for a week but am interested to hear if there are any interested parties.

I don't know about their Vikings, but I have some Old glory French Foreign Legion and other than being truly buttery in places like rifles and the like, they are very nicely molded. Again not sure about the vikings though.
