Our Medieval gamers turn out to try Rampant Lion.
72 points per side. "Take the Siege Towers!'scenario Let the retinues on one side go till all the Lords had failed a roll or were done, then passed it off to the other side. Wonderful game! Getting ready to play two more games this weekend.

I've been working on converting the rules to use with Zombiesmiths War of Ashes miniatures. I think they are quick fun rules. |

You know, that's a better name for the rules than it's published one methinks……. |

Good looking game. We had our first game of Lion Rampant last weekend. Rather more modest set up as there were only 2 players and me umpiring. Got to look at doing bigger games as there are usually 5 or 6 of us to play. |

It is a good rule set. We've used it once and had a good time with three players per side, each with a 24-point retinue. I'm running another one on Memorial Day to play-test a scenario for our regional convention. There will be, once again, three players per side, each with a 12-point retinue. I'm going to do use the same procedure D6 Junkie used to control the action. There are also a number of good ideas and discussion at the forum: duxrampant.yuku.com Jim |
