Can anyone offer advice regarding compatability of Elite miniatures 28mm range and the Collectors series range ? I've read the collectors series are actually 30mm but it seems to make no sense if the two ranges are not compatible. Looking at the gallery photographs on their website, the collectors series figures look to be done in exactly the same style as the 28mm ranges, but unfortunately there are no side by side comparison shots. Has anyone purchased both ranges and do they work together? Thanks guys |

I spoke to someone from the company at a recent show, I didn't get his name but I think he was the owner. I queried the compatibility of his figures against the more common Perries and Warlord etc. I think he said that the earlier ranges which he bought over were a bit smaller but their newer ranges were fully compatible size wise. At least that is my recollection of the day. |

They are taller than Foundry by a good bit. |

I have some of both ranges. The styles are the same but the Collector series is noticeably taller when they are side by side. |

A lot depends on the range, I use Elite Spanish along side Victrix British in my 1809 Peninsular army. I doubt that I would mix Elites in the same unit they have a unique style. For me the bonus was the price certainly cheaper than other metal ranges and not overly detailed so the detail doesn't get "lost" . In Australia he casts to order and have them in the week. |

I have Elite figures,Front Rank , Victrix ,Calpe and some Perry. As Frostydog( love the name) states they work well on my table as long as not in the same units. So go for it. |

I have both sizes of Elite and I keep them in separate units however for detached skirmishers I can mix in the 28mm just fine. |
