…issued to TMP members that can be used as a kind of 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card for when they commit an outrage on the Forums but either they do not want to spend time wallowing in the Dawghouse or even (worse) have their Account Locked. They just want to kinda say …sorry? They would have to pay another subscription charge to get a replacement penitence card. |

Can't do the time, don't do the crime. Even if the definition of "crime" is fuzzy at times… |

Absolutely not. Our current system of capricious and inconsistent moderation is a star for all to steer by. |

Letting people buy their way out of the DH would just encourage Bill to send more people to the DH. |

No. Perhaps a mandatory charge (fee, aka tax) for floating silly ideas. A really big one for really silly ideas. |

No and 'free thingy' topics should get you a stay in the Dawghouse, unless you can prove the innocence of the accused. |

If we were able to purchase Get out of Jail cards, Bill wouldn't need membership drives to buy the Editrices new computers. Don't make them cheap, though. They ought to be a valuable commodity. Maybe my next sock puppet name will be Johann Tetzel. |

No You should be allowed to request a trial and jury. Random selection of forum members… I concur. |

Don't make them cheap, though. They ought to be a valuable commodity. Then we could trade them on the open market. Maybe like scalpers…or to members of the site that must not be named… |

Yes The Editor(s) could raise money selling indulgences. That really did make me laugh. If we were able to purchase Get out of Jail cards, Bill wouldn't need membership drives to buy the Editrices new computers. …or new teeth. I might consider becoming a member again if and when TMP 4.0 arrives, until that happens I don't think I shall be persuaded by the begging letters I have been sent. |

Okay so here's how it's going to work: Whenever anyone gets DH'ed in a thread, everyone who has posted to it gets charged 10 dollars. Mutually assured destruction :-) |

Every time I had visited the DH I knew exactly what I was doing and posted anyway as an existentialist protest against stupidity. Done it before, will do it again via snark. I'll happily do the time thank you very much. |
