What is out there for building cities for 28mm? Office buildings, factories, etc. All the little stuff to build a modern or futuristic city? They can be ruins or new. I've done searches, but can't seem to put together a comprehensive list. I'm not looking for any paper print styles. Thanks for the help. |

Pegasus Hobbies have a number of industrial and gothic snap-together kits that are reasonably priced. link |

Does MDF count? If it does, there's plenty of futuristic stuff on offer although it tends to be of "needz moahr skullz" variety in regards to WH40k. Not sure about modern but probably there's something to be found there too. Start here 4X: link As to Superhero style stuff, LaserCutCard just came out with some pretty nice Art Deco ruins. Maybe they'll do something intact too, at least if people badger them about it. link |

Dust Tactics buildings are pretty good. Might be a little hard to find these days, though. -Edgar |

The Dust Tactics buildings are still available direct from Fantasy Flight Games, though if you look around they're often on sale elsewhere. I think they're great for near future/sci-fi if greebled up. link The two kits to look for are "Warzone Tenement" (2 story building) and "Operation Cerberus" (3 story building, 2 figs and some rules). Mantic "Battlezone" kits are nice also. Some are a bit samey, but the line has gotten really big and is completely modular. I really like the Card structures by "Laser cut card" I was skeptical at first, but they've got some well made structures and shipping containers that are really affordable. lasercutcard.co.za The layered card approach they use results in sturdy structures that often are cheaper and more realistic looking than MDF. Proxie models has one small sci-fi modular structure that can be combined in many ways. Also some nice accessories. link |

Great stuff so far. I'm not looking for destroyed buildings, but please list them here. They may help someone else. I really like the Dust tactic and the Pegasus Gothic buildings. |

Another MDF producer missing from the above lists: burnindesigns.net Their most recent offering is interior furnishing set that is more @ 19th century than @ modern or future, but it could work for a pulp/superhero setting or steampunk. link |

I know you said you weren't interested in paper print styles, but I have had good success in building a modern city for Superheroes. This is an ongoing project (sorry streets and sidewalks are not finished) so you can get an idea. I can make these for about $3 USD to $5 USD each all told and can put together 2 or 3 in a day. link link link link link link link link If you change your mind, let me know and I can give you more info. If you're looking for modern/superhero stuff, the Dark City 30 range from Multiverse Gaming may fit your taste: link

The new Battlegrounds scenery collection from Eureka: link And Gamecraft's Tomorrow's War series is getting some more city-style buildings added as well: link As well as already having some city ruins and large buildings. Sarissa Precisions' System Infinity looks far more colonial than you may want, but if you allow your modern cities to have a touch of anachronism stew (which real cities do have, in spades): link Warmill have a new range for when the authorities draw your colony on the map, as well as their MULE modular systems: link |

I like paper buildings, I have a large collection of World Works. As nice as they are, I am looking for something sturdier and more realistic. |

This probably wasn't mentioned yet. wargfield.com/tienda/en Mostly historical stuff (so perhaps good for superheroics) with some scifi (non-gothic) thrown in. |

Although Mantic's battlezones were mentioned earlier, it's perhaps prudent to point out specifically that they have a "red brick" version for Mars Attacks! that would work for roughly modern day superhero games. link I think the intact stuff is sort of new too, at least I only recall ruins from some time back. |

Right Arm Labs is yet another MDF scifi stuff producer. Not much 40k related stuff at a glance tho. They appear to be from Lithuania, even tho the site indicates otherwise: rightarmlabs.blogspot.co.nz |
