Wow! A very nice paint job, well done. I really must get mine painted too. They are exquisite figures. |

Hello, Any idea what he plans to release next in regards to the War of 1812? I would like to see the Chesapeake campaign covered. |

Hi, I've no idea what's to come but i'm hoping for Canadian militia both uniformed and in civilian dress in skirmishing poses and command these for the American Militia and not forgetting another pack of Caldwell's rangers. cheers Pete |

If Brigade is compatible with Perry, the latter's British should be usable as Canadian embodied militia. I'm not sure that the sedentary militia in civilian clothes are worth trying to use in a wargame. They are militarily pretty useless. I would like to see more US command and personality sets. Also command for the US western militia and maybe another skirmishing set for those. The march attack set for US western militia is questionable. I'm not sure they could maneuver in close formation like that. Their gig was more skirmishing from behind barricades or trees, I would think. The Scott's Brigade sets are usable for US militia on the Niagara Frontier in 1814 when the militia was uniformed from leftover Federal stocks and wore the grey roundabout. They would be trained enough to maneuver in close order. I would love to see some Glengarry Fencibles to round out the collection. British staff in round hats might be fun as a titbit. |
