Three days of gaming and visiting with great people. Thanks to the GMs for the creative scenarios and amazing terrain. I saw some tabletops this year that were as good as any I've ever seen- just terrific. What was great, too, was that it wasn't just eye-candy; players were huddled up around the table, leaning in, waiting for the roll of the dice or the pull of a card.
Thanks to the vendors. It is a huge amount of work to pick up and move their store inventories for a weekend. I hope they enjoyed the convention and that it was worthwhile for them. I managed to pick up some games, minis, books, rules- a little of everything. I wont need to worry about not having anything to do before we gather again- just have to decide which project to tackle first!
And of course, to the attendees who travel and play. Their enthusiasm and energy is great and makes it worth all the effort to see them having fun. This year we saw an increase in young gamers, in female gamers, and just an overall increase in numbers across the board. I think we cracked the 300 attendee threshold Friday evening!
A full after action report is in the works, but in the meantime you can see some photos at the link below. They are not yet in any particular order.
Hope to see everyone next year, May 13th-15th, 2016!
