Very nice. Don't over do it on the blanket rolls. They also carried captured US packs and a "grass hopper", which was a roll on a rifle sling carried low in the rear. I always enjoy your work no matter what it is. I really have liked your AWI stuff. |

Thank you very everyone I appreciate the kind words.:-) @iconicon I aware of the rebel use of blanket rolls, packs etc. but this is from the Perry plastic box set and the decision was already made for me.;-) Sash and Sabre does a pretty good mix of rolls and packs in a bag and Redoubt has a huge selection to mix and match which can be viewed in the ACW selection on my blog where examples of this are given. Glad you enjoy the AWI as well.:-) Christopher |

The metal Perry confederates have a good mix of packs etc. |

Yep Perry metal as well, but again these are the plastic ones which only have blanket rolls. I suppose the Perry's had to decide if it was worth the extra slot on the sprue. It seems they decided against doing so. I assume, but do not know that this had to do with the blanket roll being more common. Christopher |

You could also paint some their haversacks black indicating a captured Union one, to mix it up a bit more. Look forward to some more pictures! |
