Perry Miniatures – New Napoleonics Previews! "On Alan's workbench at the moment you can see Napoleonic British mannequins and British Light Infantry skirmishing. The mannequins on the left are for the Peninsula War, ones on the corks will take the British range back to 1800. So the Egyptian Campaign, South America, India, Denmark, many Colonial actions and the Peninsula will all be possible with this range. In the background you can see Dutch and Danish Grenadiers"

I think the 3 up has got armour on its lower leg. I hope it's more War of the Roses. |

Yes. Looks like armour… Irish Kern? |

OK, if British have a firing line and marching poses, what about the French? |
Lord Hill | 18 May 2015 4:16 p.m. PST |
Wow, those light infantry look good – can't wait. I'm still waiting for the Ponsonby vignette to become available so I can order the seize the colour and ewart vignettes. Is there a date for this? |
plutarch 64 | 18 May 2015 4:35 p.m. PST |
I ordered the Ponsonby figures a month or so ago – it is on the fourth page of the British as opposed to the vignettes on the 'Napoleonic Extras' page: link |

OK, if British have a firing line and marching poses, what about the French? They have appropriate French line marching: link …and skirmishing: link Those are codes FN156 through FN163. Now if only they'd do a matching set of Legere |

"So the Egyptian Campaign," that gives some hope that Alan will be doing miniatures for the Armée d'Orient as well |
PTCohn | 19 May 2015 4:19 a.m. PST |
FN 162 are the French Voltigeurs skirmishing. That's it for pre 1812 French firing/skirmishing. I would really like to see Alan produce a set of pre 1812 French line fusiliers in firing line pose. For that matter, I'd also like to see a set of firing line poses for the Austrian German line infantry. Alan did make firing line poses for the Bavarians, it would be nice to see the same type sets for the Pre 1812 French and Austrians. I know that you can't please everyone but these just seem to be rather obvious. |

I was under the impression that they were referring to future plastic releases and not metal ones, my fault. I beg légère infantry to be done too, in its pre-Bardin uniform (the only one they used in the Peninsula!) |

As they're musket armed…, hopefully the British lights skirmishing come with fixed bayonets. |
