I've done a short review of some columns from Blue Forge Terrain over on my blog.

They look good! I'd add in some brown or…green? staining for a more weathered look, but that grey is solid, and more importantly, done. :)

Also, it looks like we're on the same page for Pulp Alley 40K/Inquisitor/Necromunda. You wouldn't happen to be anywhere near Indianapolis, would you?

(So much to build and paint…)

ETA: Well, a quick check of your profile tells me that…you're about as far away from Indianapolis as you can possibly get, and still stay on-planet. :)

Anyway, your stuff looks great, and is another nudge for me to get mine done – thank you!

If you liked the Colony 87 KS, check this one out:

Another Pulp Alley Inquisitor fan! I reckon it's a perfect melding of great rules and a rich setting. Too bad we are on opposite sides of the planet. I'd love to see your stuff. Do you generally post it up here or elsewhere?

Thanks for the comments. I'll think about adding in some extra colour – I'm a little loathe to tinker in case I make a mess of things, but I agree they do look a little pristine.

Sadly, all of my stuff is presently a pile of bare metal and plastic. That changes soon, however…as soon as I get brush to paint to figure, I'll post something!

And yes, the PA rules really seem to fit the 'warband' style of play that I've come to love – and the setting-specific stuff pretty much just needs the numbers filed off, and fresh coat of grimdark paint. Reading through the Perilous Island campaign, I kept thinking, 'I can see Eisenhorn and his cohorts doing this…'

Heh, funny you should say that. I'm doing this terrain with Perilous Island in mind. First scenario – a rogue trader's offsider fossicking in an old graveyard.

And looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

They look good….

however as an alternative look at Wedding Cake Pillars

Yes, that is a good alternative. I do like that these are rectangular rather than round, though. Looks a little less elegant. A cursory search only turned up round cake pillars.
