Busy week this week in the real world so just this one unit painted. New Orleans Greys from Boot Hill Miniatures, lovely characterful figures. I painted the command group and three others in regulation uniform and the other six were given head swaps and painted in a more irregular fashion. Mix them all up together and I think they look ok, just the basing and adding a flag left to complete them.

Wonderful shading on the light greys , a lot harder than it looks .
You are right about the actual figures . They have a lot of character, It has to be the headgear.

I sooooo want to get these!!! I'm just trying to justify the reason. I have an idea for a diorama for the Washington on the Brazos museum. I just need to go see them and discuss if they would be interested in a display like that.
