Hi team. A speculative question. On the FUBAR forum. There are different genre's. Are the stats equivalent against all manufactures / universes ? Kurasan vs Rebel minis? or even star wars? I used the bug rule for my space demons . it worked but. it was a question put up by the group. just nagging in my head and would like a clarification. Thank you for all imput. |

I suspect the stats for the various minis are proposed by either the manufacturers, or their fans, so may or may not be compatible, depending upon your view of things, and theirs. I suggest a little objective contemplation, and/or playtesting, to determine if they are appropriate, or need adjusting. For example, in the Grav Armor rules I created for FUBAR, I used my own biases for my range of grav armor, in comparison to the armor ratings, weapons, and speeds of the other two manufacturers' vehicles ranges I included with them (e.g. Topgun, GZG, and Critical Mass Grav Armored vehicles, respectively). The latter two companies had no input into the values that I suggested for their vehicle ranges, though they are easily tweaked, if desired. |

From my limited experience, most of the stuff will work together but you should always be prepared to tweak things a bit here and there. |

Glad to hear it. Some dislike the high chances of poor units being inactive. To address that, I suggest using D10s, or D12s for activation rolls instead, and leaving everything else unchanged. That way, poor units may still fail at a critical moment, but just not all the time. |

Any kind of activation roll mechanic is always hard to get right, because there's always the chance you blow all the rolls… or make all of them :) |

Or fail, 50:50 gun jam recoveries repeatedly, as one of my pilots managed to do over the weekend. Six times or so, when he could roll for that, when flying straight and level, IIRC. |

Our group created the Star Wars and Starship Trooper cards we started with the base stat from FUBAR and just made home brew changes like someone else said just play test it and change what you don't like. We make adjustments ourselves and still are looking at some changes to our Starship Trooper cards. FUBAR is a great set of rules to get you started. John |
