That white horse on one leg wouldn't survive a normal war table very long. I don't know why sculptors have to have horses balanced on one or two legs when they know that the model is much more stable with three or four legs on the ground. Sigh.

Post 1812 (later really) uniforms, why when spending time and money making a plastic boxed set, not make a propper one and give the other uniforms to.

After all from my reading the other uniform was used well past 1812..

PS: Don't tell anyone but we have plastic French Line Lancers coming through fast on the heels of this set…

extremly well painted yellow tunic, I share the sentiments of Gunfreak, but I guess they are in time for 1815

The infantry had the older uniform but then WLG go and do the later uniform for the light cav. ??? bit skitzo, I like them yes but I don't want to go and do Waterloo I would have been much happier with earlier 1800-1810 uniform too.

Already have three metal units, but I'm glad to see someone making Chasseurs at last!

Yes this is nothing but good news! Especially about the Lancers! Just a damn shame they won't be released in time to get down under for our 200th refight! Regarding the one leg pose, its a fair point but how about gluing that horse in the middle of the 3 horse base so it seldom gets touched?

I'm with Gunfreak. An opportunity missed.

Agreed GF, but if this brings large Napoleonic armies into more people's reach, then I'm happy grin

The riders don't look bad but those are really ugly horses.

Tango0116 May 2015 11:39 p.m. PST

Not so ugly!.
