There is a modest chance I might be relocating to the MSP area later this year. I know there are a few regular TMPers there; are there any semi-regular gaming groups for historicals?

There are a number. The Centurions meet at the Source on Saturdays.(A great store with actual historicals) Saint Paul Irregulars on Thursdays. There is a South of the River Gang as well that published "Et Sans Resultat" recently. I think they are on on Tuesdays A embarrassment of riches. Send me an email at stpistaff _at_ yahoo.com for more info

contact captain canada, as he was a LITTLE SHORT on the amount of gaming, game stores and game groups within the Minneapolis and St. Paul area – and if you are into hobbies like model building, you will also have a lot of groups and stores to chose from in the metro area.

We also have a Quarterly or so convention called Recon.

I was more than alittle short. There is a lot of gaming locally.

The Source is an incredible store, in addition to a place to game. I stop there every time I visit the in-laws

Sounds awesome guys! Email sent to captain canada.

Joel/Miniatureships, is your operation near the Cities? I thought you were up north.

Hard to judge what the likelihood of this move is. It's good to know there's a lot going on.

There are many semi-private gaming groups of many genres as well. You will not be lacking opponents, no matter what your gaming tastes are. The region is also known for its strong history round-table discussion groups.

I just wanted to return to this thread to publicly thank all the MSP area gamers for their responses and generous offers, both in regards to gaming and resettling in general.

The move won't be happening, which is really what I expected, but I'm surprisingly disappointed.

Still, thanks again everybody. This really did show TMP at its best.
