Very good AAR, should be compulsory reading for all budding Hellenistic/Successor Generals. Both armies look splendid.

Gorgeous looking game

Beautiful game indeed ….

As everyone said your game is beautiful. Great to see enough troops on the table to give the feeling of opposing armies rather than the suspension of belief necessary in so many of our games.

Very nice looking game! Thanks for sharing.

If I may ask, what figure manufacturer did you use for Pyrrhus' cavalry?

Rabelais13 May 2015 8:54 a.m. PST

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
All the figures used, on both sides, are by Xyston miniatures. Pyrrhus' cavalry are the Macedonian Companion figures, with some Macedonian generals and the Alexander figure from the personality pack.

Terrific looking armies! Xyston are such lovely minis when painted like that; I had to do a double take to establish that they weren't 28's.

Fantastic looking armies!
