When you want to share pictures of your miniatures collection, where do you put them?

* your blog
* Facebook
* Flickr
* Instagram
etc.

Bashytubits12 May 2015 8:17 p.m. PST

Photobucket

TNE230012 May 2015 8:20 p.m. PST

Pictors Studio12 May 2015 8:22 p.m. PST

I put them on imgur if they are just pictures of games. If it is something for sale or related I put them on my website.

To put them on TMP, I have to use Photobucket.
To put them on eBay I can just upload them.

I don't use any of the facebook type sites.

Atomic Floozy12 May 2015 9:29 p.m. PST

I put them on my blog which then puts them on Facebook.

Martin Rapier12 May 2015 11:08 p.m. PST

Blog, as it is a blog about wargaming. Facebook overlaps too much with real life.

tkdguy12 May 2015 11:17 p.m. PST

Dropbox, if I'm going to share them.

cloudcaptain12 May 2015 11:50 p.m. PST

Fotki is the site I use for image hosting.

I use photobucket and flickr (one for hobby and one for personal stuff.)

Blogs (which are aimed at wargamers specifically) and occasionally Facebook (which more for friends and family stuff but interests overlap and no-one should miss out wink) …

Wished I could put them on TMP.

Normally I mail paper copies as I refuse to post them on line in a photobucket or something like that. Too cheap, and I don't want others downloading them.

Blog. No idea how any of the others work.

In a photo album.

Digital images – just on my home storage.

I have a digital picture frame (gift) – but I've never used it.

ordinarybass13 May 2015 5:19 a.m. PST

Photobucket and DakkaDakka Gallery is where I put them first.

For actual sharing, it mostly goes up as part of posts on our club's blog.
chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com
from which it gets promoted with a few pics on forums.

olicana13 May 2015 6:17 a.m. PST

My wargames blog. A bit of description about a pic reminds me what it is and why it was worth taking – a prime example:

Google + but it's pretty rare that I share pictures.

My backups from my phone go in the google photo album thingie. Nothing secret or private there so not too fussed about the mega-corporation data-mining my pictures.

Thinking about putting them on either photobucket or flikr. Would be nice to store them at TMP.

Rod I Robertson14 May 2015 10:13 a.m. PST

I have picture albums but none of the albums have pictures of games. Such pictures stay on my I-pad for a while and then get deleted in periodic clean ups.
Cheers and good gaming.

Flickr, but I'm not very active.

Have to do some more "How to" items later this year.
