Does anyone know where.. (other than Europe) .. where i can get 1 cent Euro coins from in the UK. They are the perfect size for basing 6mm special figures on. Like my generals and flag bearers. |

Last time any of my chums wanted some we got the lads in Antwerp to get them for us. |

Just use 1p coins – aren't they about the same size? |

Those have been taken out of circulation in this country for quite some time now. I do find them still in use in Belgium. |

UK coins are not magnetic like Euro coins! |

How many are you looking for? I might – MIGHT – be able to get them next time I'm across the border and in the Irish Republic. |

UK 'copper' coins are magnetic if you use those from post 1992ish. They usually look shinier than the non-magnetic ones. From the horse's mouth link |

Im looking for about 10 -15 of them. They are smaller than UK 1p coins. And they are actually cheaper than washers if i can get hold of them. |

Right mate, leave it with me for a few days and I'll get back to you. |

Yes – I check all my 2p coins and about two thirds of them are magnetic. They get used for basing and the others go in the 'pot' |

Washers are actually more expensive. |

No probs. mate, but as I said, give me a few days – say to the end of next week – and I'll contact you for your address when I have them. |
