"Although I finished them some time ago I have only just got around to basing this regiment of 17th C foot. I have painted them up to be Condé's regiment which fought against the King in the civil wars of La Fronde. They also fought alongside the Spanish and Royalist English at the Battle of the Dunes. The figures are a mix of Warlord Games plastics and Perry metals which seem to go together quite well. I have used Condé's livery colours of red and isabel (light yellow-buff) as a base colour scheme to bind the un-uniformed figures together." See them here link Amicalement Armand |
