So no models after six months, but a lengthy story about slacker metal casters, missing masters, depleted funds, and now the decision to switch production of the entire range metal to resin – with still no specific timeline for said production or delivery.

*sigh*

Another Cautionary Tale.

I'd say stick to well known companies, but then the Dust Studios/Battlefront partnership just went completely belly up, so that policy doesn't really work any more either. At this point I have about 6 to 7 companies, large and small, that I'd trust and back again. Otherwise I think I'm also through with new Kickstarters.

I backed this one too, and I'm less than thrilled about it. I figured it would be late, as most of them are, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting a material change.

Personally I stick to small kickstarters, if they look to be getting huge I stay away from them. So far none have been late (as in they arrived within the intended month). But I am talking barely breaking the 10 grand mark at most kickstarters.

Yep back this one too but have not given up. I have been waiting for 2 kickstaters from Paul Lidberg of Team Frog studio that were to be delivered in Feb of 2013 still waiting (with all the same excuses)

Sunderland, it's the material change that got me. I didn't spend $$/pledge for resin figs. I never would have.

There are still mixed signals about metal v resin, if the decision has been made, the original metal caster, production status, on and on. This one is really torquing my bolts.
