I relocated to the Cedar Rapids area two years ago and since then I have found not one or two but five games stores between Cedar Rapids and Iowa city. However, not a single one has any sort of miniatures prescence beyond WarHamner and Clix. Are there any clubs operating that feature historical gaming or, failing that, is there anyone in the area that would be interested in playing at a Historical Night somewhere in the Corridor. I'd be willing to run any number of different periods if there are people willing to play. |

We have a good group in the Des Moines area. We have a Games day every 3rd Saturday from 10am – 4pm at the Iowa Gold Star Museum on Camp Dodge and the Fields of Honor Convention the end of September. |

I know this is an old post, but if you still live in the area I am just getting in to the hobby (last September as the pandemic settled in). Have been looking for people to game with, if you're interested. |
