Being a complete neophyte (albeit a highly enthusiastic one) to 16th-17th Centrury samurai warfare, I'm looking at either 6mm or 10mm. I've made a small "let's see what these things look like" order with Pendraken. What other companies make 10mm samurai that are compatible with Pendraken? Thanks very much. |

The samurai by Castle Art's [sic] are very nice, but I'm not sure about compatibility. Perhaps, if you were to put the Pendraken in the middle ranks? <grin> link TMP link They do seem a bit expensive, though, so may best be used for command and special units or front ranks.
By the way, 10mm does seem like an appropriate scale for larger-sized samurai battles, given the availability of N-scale Japanese model railway terrain and structures. |

If any of you guys are near Nashville, TN May 22 thru May 24 there will be convention held called Nashcon. I will be running a 15mm samurai game with over 3200 figures. |

15mm would work well, too! |

I agree that Castle Arts, while lovely casts, end up being quite pricey after currency conversion and intl shipping. |

The link that Chinggis gave was good, but I do not know who the manufacturer "AIM" is, and clicking the link got me some virus warnings… |

AIM was Armies In Miniatures, aka Minifigs US. They made some pretty nice 10mm samurai but sadly no longer available. |

If you can find them AIM 10mm Samurai infantry match very well with Pendraken. The cavalry are noticably a different size, but I can't remember which were the larger and which the smaller. Irregular Miniatures offer a small (11 codes) range of 10mm Samurai with variations within each code. |
