Despite its importance in the history of the Cold War and it's relevance to modern geopolitics, the Korean War does not seem to get much love from the media or from wargamers. While WWII figures could suffice for US troops, there are only a handful of manufacturers who make a smattering of North Korean or Chinese troops. Would you game in this period if more troops were available? |

I would be intetested in some swuad sized skirmishes, but not much more than that. |

Not at 28mm but possibly if I had storage space [currently not] for the forces and if I found enough 15mm/6mm/3mm figures. |

Two Hour Wargames has a skirmish supplement book for the Korean War. You should pretty much be able to use WW2 figures for the US. I think 1st Corps did 28mm North Koreans. |

I'd do 15mm, if NK troops, and/or Chinese were available. That way, I could get double use out of my WWII Americans. |

Hi There are 15mm North Korean and Chianese already available from Old Glory. World 2 USA figures would work except for winter gear. I really want some USMC in Parkas. Also The British gear is different from WW2 stuff

1st corps do Chinese, but their only offering is a (very nice) infantry squad. No North Koreans yet. |

In 15mm Eureka also have some North Korean figures. And in 28mm we have this announcement today: TMP link |

North Korean: (back row) link Chinese: link link Different enough to me, and I'm not usually very fussy about exact matches. Neither one has WWII analogues that could be easily converted. |

Buckeye, you're the answer to my prayers! Get me some of that Kickstarter! |

I have zero interest in anything 28mm. My massive 1/72nd scale figure collection includes both metal and plastic Korean War figures and has for years. I get some double duty out of my WWII Siberian Infantry and WWII US Army, but even so the bulk are Imex and metal. Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |

"The British gear is different from WW2 stuff" I have zero interest in 28mm, and in 15mm the microscopic differences between 49 pattern and 37 pattern uniforms will not be noticeable. |

If I were to do Korea, I would do it in 15mm, maybe 20mm. |

If I do it, it will be in 15mm or maybe 20mm. |

There are good looking 15mm figures available through Quality Castings on the Old Glory site. My interest in the period comes from reading memoirs of the war, which are filled with accounts of furious isolated rearguard detachment, raids on enemy strong points, and patrols. To me, that demands 28mm skirmish. For inspiration, I strongly recommend Bob Drury's Last Stand of Fox Company. A nail-biter! |

First Corps do Chinese, Adarga do NK and Chinese range is rolling out – I have both, they work with each other which is useful |

I'm starting it myself, just ordered US troops. I know 1st Corps does a few Chinese; I'd like to see more. I'd LOVE to see North Koreans. |
