Hi folks. I am new to the forums, though I have been reading them for years. I am seeking information to build a campaign for the last relief attempt by the Austrians which culminated in the Battle of Rivoli in 1797.

In particular I seek to fill out the needed information for these formations:

Corps at Vicenza: GM Adam Bajalics (6,241)

6,081 in 6 bns, 160 in 1 sqn

Corps at Padua: FML Giovanni di Provera (9,097)

8,379 in 10 bns, 718 in 8-1/2 sqns

Corps at Borgo Valsugana: GM Anton Mittrowsky (3,570)

3,497 in 4 bns, 73 in 1/2 sqn

I could not find what I needed in George Nafziger's order of battle pages. Would anyone happen to know the detailed unit listings (and strengths if possible) for these formations? I am using a battalion level scale. Names of brigade commanders would be helpful too where applicable. Am assuming for instance that Mittrowsky would be sufficient for his column but Provera may have further divided his column into two commands.

I recall the boardgame "Rivoli" published by Simtac had a very detailed OOB which had been extracted from Austrian archival sources. If don't have access to it, may be you could contact the author, José Luis Arcón.

Well I am sorry for not responding earlier. I think that the game in question covers the historical battle and not the entire operation. The columns in question approached Verona in the north and all points to the south of that.

The game, I believe, only covers the area in and around Rivoli where the battle took place.
