Re the TMP Header today – uprising perhaps, but not a battle, unless you count the murders in the British Cantonments as a battle. One of the primary criticisms of the British response was that there was no 'battle' at Meerut and the mutineers were allowed to escape to Delhi. Pedantic perhaps, but there you go… |

By the way and did you know, the picture featured on the banner formed the basis of a brilliantly executed 54mm model conversion using Airfix products and featured in an issue of Military Modelling magazine in the early-1980s. It would be marvellous if a fellow TMPer could fine the MM article and/ or show the completed model. |
