"Camp Kyote Peace Talks Blog Launched" Topic

To help Don Kyoteblue with his peace efforts, I have launched a blog called Camp Kyote:

He and I are both admins there, but I won't do any admin unless he asks me too (he is new to this blog thing).

Ok, so all contact with reality has been lost; how can you "make peace" with a bunch of people who have no leadership and no structure and who see the whole situation as an opportunity to make fun of a few people that they despise?

The Frothers want you to come to Frothers, borrowing an existing Frothers account from someone else.

What does "trust" have to do with anything, or me in particular? I am John the OFM on my cell phone and have never been secret about it.
I dislike for various reasons most of the TMP haters on Frothers. One I actually like, since he has gamed in my basement.

None of the issues on either TMP or Frothers regarding each other can be resolved by an impartial moderator as far as I am concerned. My opinion will not change.
Various people over there have disliked me for years, long before the "Weird vibe" started. It surprised me when I first found them but now I don't care. I return their dislike. I don't really care what their reasons are. them.

I am actually one who CAN be trusted because I am honest about my feelings.

You are on a fool's errand. Whether or not you are set up to fail I will leave to the more cynical minded.

They claimed awhile back that I have an account there, but for the life of me I can not find any e-mail saying I had signed up for one and multiple attempts to log in there to discover what it is has met with failure.

So if they can post what the log in name is to the account and if I can log in DK is more then welcome to it.

Kyote if you are ok with it I will do the following. Create a page on my blog for the "peace talks". Maybe they do not trust me, maybe they do. That way you do not have to worry about managing any electornic stuff. Just write up and email me what you want me to put on the page. Then people can fight in the comments. I will put some rules( its my blog and I am authoritarian with my things).

You do realise the for the most part being English / British, the members of Frothers will just keep extracting the urine. We British can't help it. It is in the genes.

Most of the management here have accounts on Frothers. Just use one of theirs, even better, let them do it themselves. Frothers is vehemently opposed to any moderation, you are held accountable for what you say. Nobody will post on any blog where their post can be edited or deleted, no way, no chance. Hence the reason why if you post on frothers without a recognizable name you will get the polite request to 'log in or Off'.
No it's not cynical, you are being set up to fail.
Before you do any of this, you must first define what a Frother is. If you think it's automatically someone who hates tmp you are wrong. Plain wrong. Who exactly do you think is going to speak for the whole of Frothers?

Some people are very vocal as to why they are upset with Bill – not TMP as a collective. You will probably find you get the same people saying the same things, and nothing will change as some people cannot admit they are wrong/may have been wrong.

The 'war' exists here way more than it does (if it does at all) at Frothers.

And that mentality is part of the problem. That's why that place is such a pit and is basically 4chan with a different focus and demographic.

The real world has rules and standards of decent behavior. Only children and "rebel without a clue" types reject the need for forum moderation and rules.

Oddly enough, and perhaps so, but then "the war" and TMP is "Much Ado about nothing", how come I keep getting told that one post is over 1500 pages including dozens of posts of TMP pages on the wayback machine?

There is no war. If you uncheck "TMP Talk" and don't go to the "Froth Pot" you'd have no idea there was any tension at all except when Bill decides it's calmed down too much and stirs the pot.

Don, [if you can read this thru your stifle ?] … I still think you are jousting at windmills … but in this case … some of those windmills will joust back. But it is your time and effort to expend. And it seems nothing will detain you from getting on your horse "Rocinante", once again and riding off on your "peace" mission. Kind of reminds me of Verdun or Gallipoli … IMO no matter how many times you go over the top … you see little real effect …

Er um I've gotten more than a um hand full of private messages telling me they don't trust you and it was not just from Frothers.

Still a drop in the bucket compared to the total number of people here (and there).

From my views of frothers, it's humour and attitude is a lot like ARRSE. It's Brits taking the proverbial and they will keep doing it, especially when it so clearly annoying. Give up, go home and do something else.
