Just been rebasing some Central Steppes Turks. Described my basing techniques as part of the posting. Take a look at: link Thanks for looking! |

Very effective technique- shows off the figures well. Still not convinced that the large Impetus size bases are the way forward for me. In my club FoG, DBA and Sword and Spear rules are the favourites for Ancient and Medieval gaming. That being the case my 15 mm and 10 mm armies are all on 40 mm wide bases, with varying depths. Reduces scope for nice basing (like yours) but means I can easily get a game. When we do play the odd impetus game, I just put 4 bases together and form a unit that way. |

They look very effective! I have come to prefer the aesthetics of the multibase, but would probably look differently at them if they restricted my gaming opportunities- luckily they don't. |

Thanks guys Also good for 'to the strongest', as you would acknowledge BigRedBat. Rebasing certainly is a matter of taste and current trends. Funnily enough, I find changing the basing quite a relaxing process as I can switch the brain off; a lot easier than painting the figures! |

Your sand mix is especially good. I saved your tutorial. Thanks. |

I do a lot of rebasing Foxgamer. I seem to be on a one-man mission to rebase all the world's WAB-based minis onto multibases. But I bet there is a chap a mile or two away, doing just the opposite! Best, Simon |
