I've mentioned before how blessed North Wales is with FLGS, with a wargames shop in Llandudno and a wonderful model shop in Porthmadog. Both of which I can recommend however… There's a new one which I thought I'd advertise given holiday season is upon us. It's in Llanfair PG opposite the station and Pringles the Weavers. Called Mona Models it's got a variety of 20mm and 28mm plastics stuff. Pringles also is an Airfix stockist incidentally. Note Llanfair PG is what the locals call it. Tourists know it as *ahem* Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch….. |

Well isn't that typical, I used to go to Llanfair PG on quite a regular basis as my wife had family there. But now we haven't been for a couple of years, and they open a model shop there! As I said typical. As an aside I got my 20mm and 10mm Tardis'es from Pring and Weave (they are Airfix). Thanks for the heads up anyway. Cheers Roger. |

Yes thanks – I am a good distance away, but would happily be a tourist and support the shop :-) |
