If anyone recalls the old Campaigns Magazine on military miniatures from the late 70s and early 80s which had historical material, military miniature material of all scales and periods, along with excellent illustrations I have come across them being offered for bidding on ebay. As I didn't keep mine from the period I bought some of them and now have over half of the 49 issue run. Not only are they nostalgic, but they are still very relevant to the hobby and are of great worth to the collector and wargamer. |

great magazine. I was fortunate enough to score the entire run. Boy, those were the days, when hobby/wargaming/military magazines abound! |

Not only that but the creative production at Historex and other manufacturers, such as Lasset and Rose, were in full swing. It is a different period and outlook now and I can't say for the better. Yes, those were the days… |

Also, remember "Practical Wargamer"? Yup, got them also. And Campaigns and Tradition. Great stuff and still fun to leaf through when stuck indoors, like when recovering from an illness or injury. |
