How would you design a haunted highway scenario, complete with ghost, daemon or zombie cars, death on a hog, etc.?
There is West Winds' Road Kill series (includes vampire and werewolf bikie gangs!) but has anyone designed a killer car, truck etc. encounter? Supernatural? Super Hybrid? The Car? Or even… (NSFW)

"Okay, after reading that, I am never walking down the side of a road again."

I think you'll find in many places it's illegal anyway.

The Savage Worlds Horror Companion (and a Deadlands one-shot Hallowe'en adventure) has the phantom Coachman, who has appeared driving various vehicles over the centuries (his current appearance and name deriving from his Victorian appearance) and can be magically summoned to reap souls around a certain area (once accomplishing the task for which he was summoned, he continues to hang around for a bit. When he does leave this world again all the comatose people whose souls he took will finally die.)

Ravensblight contains many a haunted conveyance:

Plus a train, ships, aircraft…

OK, have just read Derek Landy's Demon Road. Part of the US road network is actually supernatural. This may account for the things that happen on the roads around Ravensblight.
A girl finds out she is a demon. To prevent her parents from consuming her and taking all her power for themselves, she deals with the demon that gave them their power, leading to a road trip against time across the USA – in both directions – in a special 1970 Charger. The charger just happens to be the driver's demonic symbiote, which has been with him since he was the urban legend known as the Highway Ghost, when he'd run people off the road, and kill them if they were dumb enough to get out of the car, though usually leave them if they didn't.
When the problem is resolved, the demon isn't happy, and sends the hounds of hell – 5 demon bikies! We'll have to wait until the next book to see them, though.

What kind of vehicle would a supernatural entity drive? We have all seen the Cool Car on screen, with, variously, vampires, demons, hunters, slasher villains, wizards, a wraith, sorcerors, and the Four Horsemen at the wheel; and bikes too – mostly hogs. But what do you think about the vehicles they drive? Would different schools of magic appeal to certain personalities which would tend towards certain vehicle types? Discounting evil movie customs such as The Car or Wheels of Terror, or neccessary compromises such as Harry Dresden's Volkswagen, what do your supernatural characters tend to drive? Does someone drive for them?
Demon Road has the Charger, Skullduggery Pleasant has the Bentley (although, the Skeleton Detective does understand the dangers of Metallicar Syndrome and needs to keep others, including the not-very-lamented Canary Car) and a necromancer in a Nissan Micra.
Supernatural – er, this would be quicker:

Lordi has Death driving a Chevy van.
And not to mention all those recastings of the Four Horsemen as Four Bikies of the Apocalypse!
