There is a full day event at the Norwich Castle Museum (Norwich, Norfolk, Uk)on 18th July to commemorate the Magna Carta and the Battle of Waterloo called: EVENTS THAT MADE ENGLAND: ANNIVERSARIES OF REVOLTING BARONS AND FRENCH CONQUESTS. The details are:

The Battle of Evesham – Anthony Rich
Importance of Magna Carta Wars – Edward Dawson, Project Director , Battlefields Trust
The Battle of Agincourt – Professor Anne Curry
Waterloo – Geoffrey Wootten, author of Osprey classic on Waterloo
Keynote Lecture by Sir Robert Worcester, KBE DL, Director of Magna Carta 2015 Anniversary Commemoration Committee
This is not strictly wargaming but I have never met a wargamer yet who isnt also a 'history' buff. Also, there is masses here of interest to wargamers, particularly those living in East Anglia. If anyone wants more details then please contact me at: peter@spencersmithminiatures.co.uk As well as casting soldiers, I am also the local publicity officer for the Battlefields Trust.
