More seriously, check in with Bob Barnetson: edmontonwargamer.blogspot.ca

And the Edmonton Wargame Group
link

They're up for pretty much anything if you are willing to provide both sides. Saga was popular there a couple of years ago.

We play the first and third Tuesday of each month starting at 7ish. First time is free, thereafter $3. USD Lots of variety and always a game to join. Or you can host. And some guys arrange to meet up if they want to play something head to head that night. The variety is really amazing. Mostly historicals, pulp and scimitar. Plus some war machine guys (and gals) drop in occasionally. Nice group.

Southern Ontario's loss will be Edmonton's gain. Steve is a true artist and a great guy.

Sorry, sci-fi, not scimitar, although that sounds cool too….

Crucible,

Please come by our Edmonton Wargame Group. We play most of the stuff on your list.

As Bob said, 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of each month.

Join our Facebook Group: link
Through the group, you get meeting reminders and can arrange for games before club meetings. There is also a vibrant hobby community here in Edmonton…so if you build or paint, you can share your stuff with the group online.

Had the pleasure to game with Steve once, awesome guy, amazing terrain and figures, among the best I've ever gamed with. Sad to hear he's leaving Hamilton behind just as I'm starting to get back into gaming again.

As Samuel said, Hamilton's loss is Edmonton's gain!

Good luck out there Steve.
