Lunacy. No. That is reserved for the knights jousting on horseback. Those people are truly nuts. The impact energy is several times anything the human body can produce. And the impact forces when falling on the ground from a moving horse, well, just guess. I don't like the little shields most of these guys (and gals?) are using. Very non historical. Really more like SCA. That's what this is, SCA meets rebated steel. Nice suits of armor, though…. |
