G'Day…
I have been recommended to try Force on Force Rules for WW2 BUT I understand that these are for more modern skirmishes. Is there a WW2 version, and if so, is it available in the UK ?

The first edition of Force on Force included WWII specific rules, but those were left out of the Osprey edition – you can find them here, though:

There's also a lot of activity on our forum from players who use FoF for WWII – I encourage you to check it out:

All the best,

Shawn.

Thanks. This is what I thought. Any news on a WW2 version from Osprey in the future ?

There won't be an Osprey version, but WWII is one of the topics we'll be covering in at least one Guidebook for the 2nd Edition Ambush Alley rules.

All the best,

Shawn.

Hope the new version does a better job of explaining the action/reaction system. I was never sure we were doing things right even after several plays of FoF.

Looking forward to WWII as a topic in the guide book.
Thanks too for the link to the WII rules changes to FoF.

In my club we've played FoF WWII with just the (Osprey's modern) FoF rules.

Worked just fine and I guess the rules could adapted with little or no problem to ANY era.

That was certainly the plan, at least, Lonkka1Actual.

;)

Best,

Shawn.
