Ran a 15mm game at Little Wars a couple of weeks ago using modified Command Decision Rules which I am going to start referring to as Striker III 😀

As it was a true first contact scenario, both sides were possessed with different technologies largely unknown to the opponent. In fact, both sides went into the game assuming they were humans fighting against aliens.
The true human side were on the defense and equipped with track laying armed drones and unarmed flying recon drones as well as decent infantry. The attacking aliens were well equipped with fast, well armored and armed Grav tanks and Grav APCs

The humans started out defending the tree line

The initial assault came right up the middle

And was met by every missile the humans had with predictable results

But in the end the lack of mobility doomed the humans to defeat as the aliens were able to successfully concentrate forces after taking out many of the reconnaissance drones.

What are the buildings made out of?

The white research base is a Lego model. It's modular. The domed structure is half a Christmas ornament on top of a container from Noodles Inc.
