Or are they producing all of their own weapons and armor by now?

They do have some hot Russkie stuff, but their usual MO is to buy exemplars nd reverse engineer it.

US sends them latest drones…

In the past, they've imported considerable quantities of Chinese anti-ship missiles. Generally though Sundance is right, they tend to reverse-engineer and locally manufacture as much stuff as possible.

Yeah, mostly PRC and DPRK. Russia still sells them stuff, too.

Russia just shipped some S300 SAM's to Iran.

So our Non-Aggression agreements with Russia and China are doing wonders! I guess it conveniently excluded proxy wars.

In the past they have been very resourceful and successful in importing Western weapons and spares – F14 parts, TOWs. Sometimes with the assistance of the US or Israeli governments and sometimes despite them. I imagine they can be equally resourceful now when necessary.

It definitely calms and reassures the populations for a bit, but should never give officials any reason to relax, as it is always followed by attack and betrayal.

In fact, they are simply a modern version of the Trojan Horse, except that all parties involved are "Greeks"!!!

Dan
PS. For the PC crowd, that is a reference to Virgil's Aeneid, Book 2, 19 BC:
"Do not trust the horse, Trojans. Whatever it is, I fear the Greeks even when they bring gifts."

"Russia just shipped some S300 SAM's to Iran."

For the non-PC crowd, let me explain that actually, Russia just agreed to deliver, actual delivery will still be a year or two off.

Hmmm, I espy a window of opportunity.
