I've been making grass tufts using Ailene's tacky glue. I was wondering what glues other people have tried. There's good old Elmers and a dozen Ailenes glues to choose from, so which one works best? I'm thinking that something that sets up quiclky is better. So what do you use? |

Not quite sure what you are doing. - Are you making tufts that then get glued to a base?
- Are you gluing pre-made tufts to bases?
- Are you gluing static grass?
I use diluted white glue for flock, straight white glue for static grass and pre-made grass tufts. |

I'm making my own tufts, which I will later glue to my terrain boards and bases. What brand of PVA do you use? There are specialty glues that may work better than Elmers. Ailenes makes about a dozen different PVA's. Just asking? |

I use plain vanilla Elmers Glue and I've never had any problems. |

Static grass applicator is good for large area like a battlefield or specific terrain piece. However, how do you get static grass to stand up on a single figure base? Thanks |
TheTerrainTutor | 01 May 2015 1:52 p.m. PST |
Make the tufts first with an applicator and then glue them to your figure base mate |

Thank TTT, but I want to cover the figure base with grass, not have a few tufts. I usually add tufts too. |

Try copydex glue. It's a rubber solution so you get flexible bases for covering larger areas. |
