I have been eyeing up getting this game. It looks entertaining. I was wondering how many people here are playing it. Is this a game I should get? |

It's fun. It plays like a video game, you get resources each turn and either spend them straight away to try and swarm enemy or build them up to get better troops. Not for the more serious gamers on here, but we like it. We also like Zombiecide and Memoir 44 if that gives you an idea. |

Forgot to mention, lots of replay value on the website with fan made scenarios and campaigns. So a well supported game. |

I love the game, but haven't played it in decades! Hmm, wonder if anyone has made BOPPER minis on Shapeways…. |

That's what I was thinking when I first saw the topic. |

MiniMo, the Rivet Wars I am speaking of just came out a few years ago as a kickstarter. We must be thinking of two different games. |

Inkpaduta, miniMo is speaking about a game called Rivets! put out by Metagaming in the 1970s. It was all very silly and tongue-in-cheek (in a 70s kind of way), but it brings back good memories to those of us old enough to remember it. Now I have to admit, I don't know the game YOU are talking about. Who makes it? (Edit: Never mind, found it. Old one looks better to me…) |

It's a fabulous game, with kind of cute miniatures in a brutal, WW I style background. I bought the works from a guy who had gotten in on the kickstarter and I have not regretted it a bit. |

It is a fun game and I like the odd cartoon characters and design. It makes for a nice departure from the more mainstream wargame that is also a board game. I could see this game easily converted into a three dimensional table top battle at a convention. I think some folks have done just that. |
