A large (16+ players and three umpires) Snappy Nappy Waterloo 'Campaign in a Day' wargame was played at Time Machine Hobby in Manchester, CT on April 26 from 11am to 5pm. Peter, who organized the epic event that spread across across 11 tables, offers maps, OOBs, and an AAR of the marvelous campaign at his blog: link Designer Russ Lockwood participated in the event. Umpire and player recaps are starting to appear on the blog and will likely continue over the next week or two. An interesting account when you split the battle across 11 tables to mitigate the helicopter view of tabletop wargaming. Disclosure: Snappy Nappy is published by On Military Matters and available from local hobby stores such as Time Machine, from onmilitarymatters.com directly, and in the UK from CaliverBooks.com |

No one commenting on this? I wish I could have been there to play, looks like a great way to while the day away. Oh, thanks for the oobs on your link too. |
