I bought SHQ British commandos and I was very pleased with the figures. Are the ACW figures of similar quality? I like painting 20mm so I thought I'd get a sampling set of these to start my force up. There are a number of artillery pieces as well so the set is complete enough to me. Can I mix SHQ with plastic figures for good effect? |

SHQ tend to be on the smaller side. Plastic Acw run mainly 24mm for infantry with Hat and A Call to Arms 22 and 21mm respectively. |

I would disagree on height. SHQ sell the Kennington line ACW figures. They are actually larger and bulkier than plastic. The attached picture should give you a good indication of size and bulk for comparison. They would be fine to have in their own unit on the table but mixing with the plastic I think would be difficult. Neiland, Thank you for posting the photo comparison of these figures. Since you posted the picture that includes the Qualiticast figure on the far right, I'm hoping you might know where I can view their range. I can't seem to find any current information about them. Any other help out there? Thank you. |
