Alien Dungeon pre-sells new tanks in 15mm for the British army. It will cost $ 48 for a set of three.

I have to say that, stylistically, these seem "too WW2" to me.

Exactly what I was going to say. In the fluff they dont use the steam engines like the US tanks do, because they're "advanced". Meh. I prefer the clunkier stuff for AQontMF

Sorry to be contrary, but they actually appear post-war to me. Not that I'm a treadhead.

I'd agree with the domed turrets being a bit post war (WW2) but the extra tall hatches and mud chute side skirts (and even the rear deck) shout 'Matilda II' to me.

A bit of a mish-mash, perhaps. Not offensive per se, just – for me – a little jarring.

The Turrets looks like post WWII Russians.

Prewar, not to put too fine a point on it (and yes, I *am* a treadhead and PROUD OF IT!evil grin):

At least, that's how they look to me, like a development of the interwar British Independent heavy tank…

Good point, Leland but… the size of that main gun! Jeezalooo!!

Frankly, I'd much rather use an actual model of that A1E1 Independent: the length and gun size and extra turrets just seem about right to me. Does anyone make on in a suitable scale (1/87th or whatever they are meant to be!)

I'm with you John!

I lost interest in AQOTMF Kickstarter when I saw the tanks. They went the Warhammer route rather than using all of the wonderfully wacky interwar stuff that actually existed.

Hi

Early War Miniatures have the Independent. Nice looking ridiculous tank, perfect for All Quiet
