Finally got around to reviewing the plastic Panther/Jagdpanther boxed set. Overall I'm extremely impressed. The fit is excellent, the miniature is well-engineered, and for the scale and purpose, the accuracy is quite high… More at the blog: link |

Thank you for the write up. Interesting and fun. I don't play late war but may have to get the kit anyway. |

Looks good. But I already have enough Panthers from PSC. My Jagpanthers are from forged in battle. I wish some company would bring out an all plastic M4A3E8. Thanks for the awesome review fingolfen |

Good review, I've had the same issues with the marks/dents but I'm generally impressed. One thing I did find (and told a very helpful battlefront bod at salute) is that in the exploded diagram on the back, the piece of the mantlet (two piece – apologies if my terminology is wrong) nearest the turret on the panther seems to be shown the wrong way up and is different to the constructed models. I may be wrong and it's no mensa challenge to flip but it did make me question my sanity during one model filled, insomnia powered night. Keep them coming BF and keep up the reviews fingolfen. Oh and don't forget that you can use the spare panther hulls/turrets to make dug in ones. |

Oh yeah, there's a dug in Panther that was used in Berlin that I'm planning on doing… :D My only real complaint is that to do an early Ausf G without zimmerit you have to do a fair amount of conversion work… |
