Aldi's at the moment are selling a 1M x 2M artificial grass mat for £6.99 GBP. I saw the offer was on, but did not want to buy one as I already have two from past sales, but I gave in and bought a third. Ideal for a base mat to lay down quickly for that quick game and the surface is very smooth and would suit any scale from 2mm upwards. |

A couple of quick shots with some unfinished figures, the dimples in the foreground of the second picture which go away is caused by it being tightly rolled in the shop and is an imprint from the rubber backing:- link link |

Yep – my wife bought me one at the weekend – I took it down the club and played on it last night. Very good Only downside is that it could do with being 1.2192 metres wide instead of 1 metre :) |
