Hi everyone. World's End Publishing is proud to announce the release of This Is Not a Test, a 28mm post-apocalypse wargaming rules set. The game has been in production for 3 years and is now set to release. Featuring 170 full color pages of wasteland insanity, the rulebook will be released as a high-quality PDF with a printed version to follow. We will also be releasing a small, but growing, range of miniatures as well.

When you thought up the title were you of the infamous quote from Pearl Harbor:'This is not a drill; this is the real thing'?

As have I -- it's quite cool, with plenty of nifty mechanics.

veichle rules?
campaign rules?

looks good, as a rule junky probably pick them up, just wondering…

thanks:-)

McBane, campaign yes, vehicles no. The rules were designed with a pretty thorough campaign system built in. Half the fun is leveling up your guys. Vehicles are one of those odd things. In a 28mm tabletop they can really change the dynamic of the game. In order to do them right, I left them off for now. In the future I will do vehicle rules, but they will be complimentary without dominating.

cool, thanks for the reply, finding a good campaign system has been one of my things I am looking for in a game…like necromunda, that was the best part, leveling up your gang and building your base, etc…

cool, cant wait to see more, and buy a copy:-)

I assume its very usable with miniatures from "other" companies and covers enough tech to proxy using say power armor infantry, or whatnot ;-P

McBane, everything you just asked for is in there. I encourage other minis, not just ones I produce. Heck, the book is full of stuff from other companies. :)
