Among the first of probably dozens this year. Part I is written up in my blog here: link Played over one weekend with a dozen or more players. Empire was and remains our rules of choice for such games. Part II in a day or so will let you know how it turned out. Hope you enjoy. |

Interesting, pretty and no doubt great fun to play. However, some of the tactics and deployments seem a little "gamey", especially Reille's in the 9th picture. |

@Londongamer Wasn't my corps, but the only gamey thing I see is reacting to the Prussians we don't know are coming. I criticized that decision when I saw it, but by then it was too late. Both sides played with perfect 20-20 hindsight. |

I know that we have not had part 2 yet but, in light of d'Erlon's position and attack, were the allied forces at Hal and Braine l'Alleud available to your Wellington. The reacting to the Prussians was the main focus of my "gamey" comment. |

We debated that in the pre-game planning but said no. We were quite surprised when all of the ground appeared beside Hougoumont. The main reason we did not allow for the Hal troops to appear was that there was no direct road or line of movement to get there. |
